The Disaster First Aid Training System is a one-day course, a handbook, and an Instructor-Kit of teaching materials, how-to instructions, and complete detailed Powerpoint presentation CD. Suitable for students age 14 through seniors.

THE HAITI EARTHQUAKE

It has been soul-crushing for us to see on BBC News the hundreds of children of the Haiti earthquake witH arms or legs amputated. This was necessary because their broken bones and wounds had become so infected while waiting for care that they became life-threatening. That's one of the things the simple actions of DFA might have prevented in many cases, with actions anybody could have done, if they only knew.

 

WHAT WE'RE DOING

Disasters can happen anywhere, to anyone. Recently more website visitors are coming to us from India and the Middle East. We don't ship to those areas because both time and costs make it prohibitive. We wanted to do something, and we came up with a radical idea: To make an e-book from the the DFA text handbook that could be downloaded for free, all over the world...
